Made by hand, one knot at a time

spidye began as a small studio practice built around two tactile crafts, macrame and knitting. Every piece is shaped by hand, and we work only with natural fibers so the texture of the cord and yarn stays visible in the finished goods.

We choose natural cotton cord, untreated wood, and soft wool yarns. Cotton macrame holds a firm, open structure, while knitwear gives a softer gauge and a warmer hand.

We make in small batches, because each knot and stitch needs time to settle into place. Every finished piece is checked for structure and finish before it leaves the studio.

We would rather make fewer pieces with care than many without it. Our goal is goods that feel calm, honest, and built to last in everyday use.
